Xiaomi, The Chinese smartphone company, is known to launch a new mid-range smartphone Xiaomi Civi in China today. This might be a new line of smartphones from Xiaomi. The phone launched on 27 September 2021 as the first offering. This smartphone comes with only one model. The pro models for the Xiaomi Civi might launch in the future.
Xiaomi Civi Specfications
The Xiaomi Civi features a punch-hole design with slim bezels, A sleek body of 6.98mm, curved edges, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support.
The new phone also includes a Snapdragon 778G chipset, triple rear cameras, and a 4,500mAh battery with quick-charging support. It is available with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
Talking about the camera, the new phone consists of a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera along with a 2MP macro camera and 32MP camera on the front. It comes with 5G, 4G LTE connectivity supporting Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
Pricing and availability
The amount for Xiaomi Civi is about CNY 2,600(Rs 29,600) for the base 8GB/128GB storage variant. It is about Rs 33,100 for the higher 8GB/256GB storage variant. For the top-end 12GB/256GB variant, the amount is set at CNY 3,200(Rs. 36,500). Xiaomi Civi will be available in shades of Blue, Black, and Pink colors. It will release on various online and offline channels in China on the 30th of September, 2021.
Xiaomi Civi launch in India
At present, there is no official news regarding the launch of Xiaomi Civi in India. The Chinese company Xiaomi is already expected to launch the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G in India soon. If this happens, the phone will compete against other Snapdragon 778G phones like the iQoo Z5 that launched earlier this week.
