2. How to Find the Right Traitor Who Betrayed Soma in The Stench of Treachery quest?
There are three suspects to as in who betrayed Soma in The Stench of Treachery quest, Galinn, Lif, and Birna. As I mentioned above that once you do all the investigation and find all the clues, Galinn turns out to be the traitor who betrayed Soma. You reach this conclusion, as you talk to all three suspects and get to know that Lif had some yellow paint stolen off of him. After that, you investigate the long tunnel, which leads to the Longhouse, you will have to use your Odin’s Sight. You’ll see some yellow paint splashes all over the tunnel. This yellow paint splashes will lead you to where the Saxons landed in their boats.

We don’t know as of now, who stole the yellow paint off of Lif. As you’ll explore through the river bank, you’ll see some destroyed longships along with Lif’s poetry in them. As you move further, from these longships, you’ll see Galinn’s ship painted with yellow color. Coincidence? I don’t think so. This yellow color is to signal the Saxons to attack the clan’s home.
As you head in the West direction from Galinn’s ship, you’ll come across a Saxon Camp. You’ll need to defeat this group and once you do so you need to search the camp. As you go through the Camp, you find a letter from the Saxon Wigmund, telling his men to leave the ship which is painted yellow alone. The ship which was painted yellow was Galinn’s ship. This is how you conclude that Galinn was the traitor, who betrayed Soma in AC Valhalla.
