Finding the location of Onikabuto in Inazuma is the newest highlight of Genshin Impact. Its character, Shikanoin Heizou, requires you to collect some of these to reach level 90 and do better at the game. If you long for this new element then we are at your rescue.
We will tell you Genshin Impact’s all Onikabuto locations in Inazuma here.
1. Genshin Impact: What is Onikabuto?

Onikabuto are purple bugs found in the Inazuman region, throughout the land of Electro. You must be alert with the beetles as they climb on trees in Electro-infused areas. This makes it hard to collect all of them.
2. Genshin Impact: Onikabuto Location
Onikabuto are found in areas that are full of electricity. This makes it hard to collect them and so you must have your Electrogranum leveled up. This will help you gather a lot of Onikabuto in Inazuma. Tip: A lot of these bugs cling to trees outside these danger zones.
You can collect 168 Onikabuto which will help you with character ascension up to three times. They are located at four locations: Narukami Island, Kannazuka Island, Yashiori Island and Seirai Island.
Onikabuto Location #1: Narukami Island

You can find large clusters of Onikabuto in the Narukami Island. Head towards the Kamisato Estate from Grand Narukami Shrine and you will find them hiding in trees. You can find it within Mt. Yougou and in the caves below Inazuma City.
Onikabuto Location #2: Kannazuka Island

Onikabuto are located on the cliffs to the west and northwest of the Mikage Furnace in large clusters here. You can also find them hanging out on the walls surrounding the Mikage Furnace itself and you can move down the crater to spot them. Lastly, four more Onikabuto are located towards the north of the Kujou Encampment.
Onikabuto Location #3: Yashiori Island

Onikabuto live in two regions of Yashiori Island: Higi Village and Serpent’s Head. You can find three of them around the Musoujin Gorge, north of Higi Village. Remember that one Onikabuto is behind a waterfall. At Serpent’s Head, you may search on trees and rocks near the Serpent’s Skeleton.
Onikabuto Location #4: Seirai Island

You will find only six Onikabuto in Seirai Island and are hard to farm quickly. But, you should not feel let down as all of them spawn on trees close to the beaches southwest of Amakumo Peak. You can then find them easily by focusing on the trees majorly.
Free Onikabuto: Inazuma City

You may acquire four Onikabuto for free if you speak to a small child named Shouta in Inazuma City. Simply ask him what he’s doing and then select the ‘what did you offer?’ conversation option. It should be noted that this only works once, thus there is no need to return to Shouta at a later time.
However, you may find him down the stairs to your left (if you take the northern Teleport Waypoint).
3. Verdict
Locating Onikabuto in Genshin Impact is a mysterious adventure with its own perks. It helps you in ascension and upskills you as a player. The idea of this mini side-quest is interesting and feels quite realistic to me. There is always a different vibe here that keeps you going and this is my favorite part of it.
