The light beam puzzle in AC Valhalla appears at the climax of Cave of Gold, which is the inference of the DLC crossover of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Moreover, it brings Kassandra and Eivor together to create a much more exciting impact on gamers who have been playing both games for a long time.
The puzzle is a little perplexing because seeing the pedestals makes one wonder what they’re supposed to do with them and what they’re supposed to aim for with the pedestals so that the door can open and they can cross the Cave of Gold after some interesting conversations between Eivor and Kassandra about her past.
If you want to exit the Cave of Gold and continue to the conclusion of the Isle of Skype arc, ‘The sleepless nights,’ then you’ve come to the right place. Simply follow the steps below and you’ll be able to exit the Cave of Gold with ease. Also, you’ll have to obtain Apple of Eden, small ball-sized artifact to complete What Dreams May Come True quest in AC Valhalla.
Discovering the Cave of Gold in AC Valhalla
You will be able to reach the Cave of Gold, which is located in the northeastern portion of the Isle of Skype, after finishing the third phase of A Fated Encounter. The location of the Cave will be noted on the map once you’ve completed the previous part, so you won’t have any trouble finding it.

Simply approach the pedestrians and they will open the portal, allowing you to enter the cave. Then, continue the tunnel until you reach a cave full of water, where you must dive under the water to reach the other end of the tunnel and then use the platform to return to land.
After that, you’ll be sent to a locked room where you’ll be instructed to murder your foes in order to continue. Now, you’ll need to fight against your opponents, Kassandra will set up an ambush, and you will have to fight additional monsters with Kassandra’s assistance, eventually completing the ‘Light beam puzzle’ to depart the Cave of Gold.
How to Solve the Light beam Puzzle in AC Valhalla
When you enter the cave, some light beams will be turned on by Kassandra to help you view the pedestals. To continue, simply go forward from the entryway and you will notice four additional pedestals with which you must deal in order to depart the cave. The steps for dealing with the pedestals are as follows:

- Step 1: You may easily push the pedestal at the bottom left corner of the room; simply push it in such a manner that it directs the light beams through the wooden beams to the second pedestal, which is positioned adjacent to the wooden platform; you will have to visit this second pedestal to direct the light beams further.
- Step-2: Simply demolish the giant hanging rock in the way and go to the pedestal next to the wooden platform where the light beams were directed in the first phase. Rotate this pillar in such a way that the beam is directed towards the door’s right lock.
- Step-3: Simply reach the door, and above it, on a square pillar, is the third pedestal with which you will deal next; simply climb up the wooden shelf to reach this pedestal, and point the pillar towards the fourth pedestal, which is just below the stone-like platform nearby. This fourth pedestal will be the final one leading to the Cave of Gold’s exit.
- Step-4: Place this pedestal in such a way that the beam is directed towards the door’s left lock. The door will open as soon as the beam touches the left side lock, and you will have finished the Light beam puzzle in AC Valhalla. After some conversation with Kassandra, you will depart the Cave of Gold.
Enter the room with Kassandra after opening the gate and you’ll see various strange pots and weapons. The artifact creates an illusion like this. To finish the What May Dreams Come True quest in AC Valhalla, keep going until you collect the Apple of Eden artifact.
