Updates are something that always makes any battle royale gameplay refreshing and a bit more interesting. Updates generally bring in new skin bundles, maps, locations, and events. Being one of the battle royale games, in Valorant most of the updates bring in a new skin bundle. With the new patch dropping in along with Episode 5 Act 1, there are major updates coming in-game. What is the new map ‘Pearl’ in the Valorant?
This is a new map that will be coming in Valorant soon. We expect this map to have an underwater theme. Pearl is an entire metropolis encased in a Radianite-infused polycarbonate produced by Kingdom Industries. Unlike VALORANT’s Haven map, the new map looks to just include two bomb sites and is a combination of lengthy hallways and alleyways with buildings scattered throughout, such as the Multiverse Museum.
It looks to feature various nooks and hiding locations for opponents to lie in and wait outside of the long hallways to take down gunfights. Moreover, “Split” will be removed from the map pool in Competitive and Unrated. Now, we can see this map only on shorter games like Spike Rush.
What is the ‘DemonStone’ in the Valorant?
This is the new skin bundle that is being launched in-game. The bundle is also called the “Chaos Bundle.” This bundle will consist of five (5) items –
- A Melee skin
- Vandal
- Operator
- Stinger
- Shorty
The Prelude to Bundle Price is –
- Prelude to Operator: 2175 VP
- Prelude to Vandal: 2175 VP
- Prelude to Stinger: 2175 VP
- Prelude to Shorty: 2175 VP
- Prelude to Melee: 2175 VP
- Prelude to Full Bundle: 8700 VP
You will also be getting a Gunbuddy and a spray too.
New Rank in the Valorant
Riot also bringing a new rank in Valorant, Ascendant. However, this rank might be lie between Diamond and Immortal.
Release Date of New Patch
This is all about the new patch; which is going to release on the 22nd of June, 2022 at 9 AM PT (Pacific Time Zone) i.e., 9:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time). I hope everyone will love the updates of Pearl and Demonstone in Valorant.
