The latest 2021 games have already sprung a few surprises on us so far this year, and we can expect more as we head into spring. Also, with the early access Viking game Valheim, we’ve had our first surprise smash hit. With Hitman 3’s trilogy finale, we were just as happy as we had hoped. Now, there is one more surprise that there so many upcoming PC games in 2021.
With the release of the latest PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles late last year, 2021 will undoubtedly be full of surprises. The power of those new consoles will definitely be exploited in the upcoming releases, which should include PC versions.
Due to the pandemic situation, several big and small games have been delayed from their initial release date. As developers continue to work from home, we’re unlikely to see a complete end to game delays caused by the pandemic.
So now, we have made a list of upcoming PC games in 2021.
1. Outriders
Outriders is an RPG-Shooter with intense action and violent gunplay. The Outriders’ special abilities are as bloody and gruesome as their shooting, with bloody and gruesome forms of dispatching enemies. The game contains strong language, an adult theme, and scenes that could distress certain players. It was released on 1 April 2021, which attracted 3.5 million unique players in April and became its next major franchise.
2. Resident Evil Village
Capcom has been released Resident Evil Village on May 7 2021, the tenth main Resident Evil instalment and the sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Ethan Winters investigates a new threat in a creepy village in the eighth mainline Resident Evil game, which picks up where RE7 left off.
Moving ahead with Ethan(You) to execute all bosses including Mother Miranda and complete the story.
3. Deathloop
Deathloop is a new action-adventure game from Arkane Studios, which Bethesda Softworks will release. It will be available for PC via Steam and the Bethesda store on May 21st, 2021. Arkane is back with another first-person shooter, and this one sounds like a blast. On Blackreef Island, master assassin Colt is caught in a time loop, and he must sneak, plot, and manipulate to destroy all of his eight targets in 24 hours or risk starting over.
4. New World
Amazon Game Studios is scheduled to release New World, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, on August 31, 2021. It appears that 2021 will be the year that this promising practical take on conventional MMOs finally sees the light of day.
5. Back 4 Blood
Back 4 Blood is a new online survival horror game from Turtle Rock Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It will be released on June 18, 2021. Back 4 Blood is a tense cooperative FPS from the makers of the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead series. Experience the action-packed four-player co-op story campaign, competitive multiplayer as a person or Ridden, and fast-paced gameplay.
6. Halo Infinite
Halo Infinite is a first-person shooter game for Windows produced by 343 Industries and released by Xbox Game Studios. With the most expansive Master Chief story yet, the iconic Halo series returns. Halo Infinite will release in autumn 2021 because the date is not announced yet.
7. Elden Ring
Elden Ring is a new action role-playing game from FromSoftware, released by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The release date is not announced yet. Instead of playing as a fixed protagonist, Elden Ring will allow players to build their own custom characters.
8. Ruined King
Rise Against Ruin – In this immersive turn-based RPG, gather a group of League of Legends Champions, explore Bilgewater, and set sail for the Shadow Isles to discover the secrets of the deadly Black Mist. Ruined King is produced by Airship Syndicate and released by Riot Forge, Riot Games, and the release date is not announced yet.
9. Age of Empire 4
Relic Entertainment, the creators of Company of Heroes, the highest-rated RTS to date, is working on Age of Empires 4 (AoE4) with Xbox Game Studios. However, the initial release date is not confirmed yet. Europe and Asia’s activities between the Stone Age and the Classical era are covered in the Age of Empires. The Rise of Rome, its extension, portrays the development and rise of the Roman Empire.
10. Far Cry 6
It is a first-person shooter game developed and released by Ubisoft Toronto. The game takes place on Yara, a fictional Caribbean island governed by “El Presidente” Antón Castillo, grooming his son Diego to overthrow the dictatorship. The player assumes Dani Rojas’s role, a guerilla fighter attempting to overthrow Castillo’s regime. It is one of the most awaiting upcoming PC games in 2021, and set to be released in the mid-2021.
