Samsung Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G Launched

Samsung has launched Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G on 3rd June 2021. The new models come with Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chips (SoCs) and run on Microsoft Windows 10. Moreover, Samsung also brings other features like Dolby Atmos support and preloaded Microsoft Your Phone app. Both the models are equipped with a 180-degree folding hinge. Samsung designed these products to compete with Chromebooks and target people looking for laptops to fulfill their work and study requirements.


Both galaxy models have passed military-grade MIL-STD-810G tests, are equipped with a 180-degree hinge and come with slim bezels. Samsung Galaxy Book Go has a 14-inch full-HD TFT display and runs on an upgradable Windows 10 Home.

It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 SoC. Also having an Adreno GPU of 4GB. The Galaxy Book Go also has 64GB and 128GB of eUFS storage options and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM.

Samsung provides a 720p HD webcam and a digital microphone to its laptops. It has a 42.3Wh battery that can be charged quickly with the included 25W USB Type-C fast charger.

LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, two USB Type-C ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity choices available on the Galaxy Book Go. MicroSD card slots are also available. A Nano SIM card slot is also included in the Galaxy Book Go 5G.

Galaxy Book Go series also has the Microsoft Your Phone app preinstalled. It allows you to sync your smartphone with your laptop. The Samsung TV Plus service has also been incorporated, and the icon is found in the Windows menu.


Samsung Galaxy Book Go costs $349 (approximately Rs. 25,500) for the Wi-Fi-only variant. There’s also an LTE version of the laptop that hasn’t been given a price yet. From June, the Galaxy Book Go will be available in a limited number of markets.

The Galaxy Book Go 5G’s price and availability have yet to be confirmed. According to Samsung, the 5G-enabled device will be available later this year, and the silver finish will be available on both the Galaxy Book Go and the Galaxy Book Go 5G.
