Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4 are the latest iterations of Samsung in its flagship mobiles. They are going to be released in the later part of this year. But the leaked features are constantly trending on the internet. After the news that came earlier indicating fold 4 to become with inbuilt S pen. The latest one of these is that both devices will come with the latest cooling system which is currently offered by Samsung S22+ and S22 Ultra. Cooling system in Samsung Flip 4 and Fold 4
Earlier this month, Samsung in the Unpacked event had released its’ latest cooling system configured in Samsung S22+ and S22 Ultra. Now as per the latest news provided by TheGalox on Twitter Samsung Flip 4 and Fold 4 will also configure the same cooling system. The new cooling system will have two varieties of thermal interface material (TIM). Out of which one is Gel-TIM, which will act as a thermal paste. It will transfer heat 3.5x times more efficiently. While second is Flexible Nano Tim. It is a new technology as compared to older solid or metallic TIM. TIM will blend more easily in response to heat in order to reallocate it to Flip 4’s new vapor chamber.
The design and position of the Vapor Chamber are also completely new. Earlier it used to be fixed on PCB (printed circuit board). But now it will be placed just above the battery. It will cover a wider area starting from application processor (AP) to battery, which will improve heat transfer. Vapor Chamber is made up of double-bonded stainless steel. It is both thinner and more durable. Vapor Chamber also consists of a wide graphite sheet. It will diffuse heat away from the vapor chamber.
