Valorant Conquerors Championship: The road to VCT India

The wait for official news on VCT India is finally over! The path for VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifiers is now open. Riot has partnered up with Nodwin Gaming to organize the Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) for regions including India. VCC will act as the qualifiers for the main VCT event. The teams will compete for a prize pool of Rs 25 Lakhs ($33,000). The registration for the Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) will start on June 15, 2021.

Valorant Conquerors Championship Format

The championship will have six qualifier rounds among the Countries from the South Asian Region which are:

1. India 
2. Pakistan & Afghanistan
3. Sri Lanka & Maldives
4. Bangladesh 
5. Nepal & Bhutan
6. Wildcard 

There will be limited sets of registration slots available for each qualifier. The winner of the online qualifiers will progress to the playoffs. Further, the winner of the playoffs will progress to the APAC last chance qualifier, where they will compete against qualifying teams from Southeast Asia, Korea, and Japan. Finally, this APAC Last Chance Qualifier winner will compete in the Valorant Champions Tour’s worldwide final, where the 2021 Champion will be crowned.

Valorant Conquerors Championship Prize Pool

The winner of the Valorant Conquerors Championship will get a total amount of Rs 25 Lakhs($33,000).

Additionally, Winners will also progress to the Valorant Champions Tour 2021: Asia Last Chance Qualifiers, where they will have the opportunity to compete in the VCT Champions tournament, which is predicted to have a substantially greater prize pool.

The registration for Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) for SEA region including India will start on June 15, 2021, at 02:00 PM IST.
