Google launched the much-awaited Pixel 6 series smartphone in October 2021. The Pixel 6 smartphone has an impressive camera and a stunning design. However, few of the Pixel 6 users are facing hardware and software-related issues in the smartphone. Meanwhile, the launch date of a new smartphone in the Pixel 6 series has been tipped online. The Pixel 6a is tipped to launch in May 2022.
Tipster Max Jambor shared that the Pixel 6a is scheduled for May. Considering the launch of previous Pixel a-series devices, the Pixel 6a is going to be launched earlier than everyone expected. Both, Pixel 5a and 4a were launched in the August month of the year. Furthermore, the Pixel 3a smartphone was launched in May during the Google I/O event and can be repeated with the upcoming 6a.

According to the previous leaks and rumors, the Pixel 6a will have a 6.2-inch flat OLED display. In terms of camera specs, the Pixel 6a will dual camera setup with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN1 as the main sensor at the back and a centered punch-hole camera at the front for selfies. Moreover, the Pixel 6a is also rumored to be Google’s first budget device with a headphone jack.
Talking about the design of Pixel 6a, we can expect it to be similar to the Pixel 6 series. Moreover, we can also expect its features to be similar to the Pixel 6 phones. The Pixel 6a will have Google’s Tensor chipset but not the same which was present in the Pixel 6. Moreover, the camera of the Pixel 6 will not be as good as the Pixel 6.
