Google’s Pixel 6 series has reduced the OnePlus 9 product line prices, which had previously been known for providing lower-priced flagship phones than the major brands. Now, it seems that OnePlus has reduced the price of the OnePlus 9 series in the United States.
Oneplus 9 Series Prices Have Been Reduced
For the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, NS Prasham Parik of the Android Police discovered a discount pricing of $599 and $799.99 on Amazon and Best Buy, respectively. While the pricing of the OnePlus 9 Pro is the same as that of the regular Pixel 6, the OnePlus 9 Pro’s $799 price is actually $100 cheaper than that of the Pixel 6 Pro.

One Plus 9 Vs. Google Pixel 6
While the OnePlus 9 phone does not have as quick wired charging as the Pixel 6 series, it does have a more powerful ultra-wide camera with a better resolution. The regular Pixel 6, on the other hand, comes with IP68 certification (which is absent from the unlocked OnePlus 9) and wireless charging capabilities (missing in the Indian version).
Choosing the OnePlus 9 Pro over the Pixel 6 Pro means giving up a 5,000mAh battery and a periscope zoom camera in exchange for a 3X telephoto lens, but you’ll get wireless charging at a speed of up to 50W.

A $599 Pixel 6 would have made this a no-brainer, but OnePlus did the right thing and reduced the price of the OnePlus 9. This is a no-brainer in some ways since Google will now be able to combine machine learning with image processing on-device. Plus, we have Material You on Android 12 and don’t have to wait for ColorOS integration on the OnePlus 9.
Hardware-wise, the OnePlus 9 is one of the year’s most remarkable smartphones. But the previous 8 months’ events may have made you apprehensive about the future.
