Moreover, in the last week of September the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Note 20 also received the October update.
In Samsung’s latest security update there appear to be no user-visible changes. However, according to Samsung, the update fixes around 68 privacy and security flaws in the device. In addition, it also includes device stability enhancements and some general bug fixes. The Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 users in the US can easily update to the latest security patch by following the steps:
- Go to Settings
- Click on Software update
- Click on Download and Install
However, it is still unclear which Samsung devices will receive the update besides the Galaxy S20 and S21 series in the US.
Samsung is also working on a fresh new update in UI which will be based on Android 12. The second beta version of the One UI 4 was also rolled out in the Galaxy S21 devices last week. The beta update added many improvements and also the Material You to the Samsung device.
