Design 

Let’s talk about the Design of Nothing Phone 1, which is the main highlight in the smartphone market. As the name suggests, Nothing Phone 1 will have Nothing. The Galaxy A53 follows the same design as last year since it’s not changed yet. The rectangular camera module remains in the upper left corner, with the continuous polycarbonate rear covering it. The Samsung Galaxy A53 likewise has an aluminium metal frame, just like the Nothing Phone 1.

Display 

Flat displays are present in both the Samsung Galaxy A53 and the Nothing phone (1). Both of them have punch-hole cameras, except they are placed differently.

The 6.55-inch flexible OLED display on the Nothing phone (1) and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, allowing it a 401 PPI pixel density. Additionally, the adjustable refresh rate ranges from 60Hz to 120Hz.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G boasts a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution and a pixel density of 404ppi. A 120Hz refresh rate is also included, albeit it is not adaptive.

RAM, Storage, and Processor

The Galaxy A53 is powered by a Samsung Exynos 1280 5G processor. The Nothing Phone (1) has three cameras in total: a 50MP OIS primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A53 boasts five cameras: a 32MP front camera, a 5MP depth camera, a 5MP macro camera, a 64MP primary camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera.

Both devices include optical image stabilization for steady photographs and videos, although the ultrawide lens on the Phone (1) has a substantially greater resolution and a little smaller field of view. However, the Galaxy A53 enables 4K video and captures photos in greater resolution on the front.

Battery 

An integrated 4500mAh battery powers the Nothing Phone (1). The Glyph interface, which takes up some more space inside the device, is one factor contributing to this. A robust 5000mAh battery is included with the Galaxy A53, the same as the one found on the premium S22 Ultra.

Compared to A53’s 25W charging, the Phone (1) offers cable charging at a faster 33W rate. It also enables 15W wireless and 5W reverse wireless charging to power your watches and earbuds. Unfortunately, neither item had a charger in the box.
