How to Find Mermaid Ball in Resident Evil Village

After completing Castle Dimitrescu Labyrinth (Flower Swords Ball) Puzzle and Garden Labyrinth (Sun and Moon Ball) Puzzle as you progress further in the game, the third labyrinth puzzle you’re going to come across is the Moreau Labyrinth (Mermaid Ball). You can only get this ball after you defeat Salvatore Moreau. Here’s how to find Mermaid Ball in Resident Evil Village. 

1. Where to Find the Mermaid Ball in Resident Evil Village

After you defeat Salvatore Moreau, you have to use the crank in your inventory to open the gate to Moreau’s lab, where you’ll find the third ball. There are two routes to the ball location once you enter Moreau’s lab, you either go to the right or to the left.

We suggest you to take the left route. Once you see the windmill again, take a left, you will find a small shrine with a small chest. Inside the small chest, you will find the Mermaid Ball.

2. Where to Find Moreau Labyrinth in Resident Evil Village

Once you collect the Mermaid Ball, now you have to go to Moreau’s Reservoir. Take the same route you came from and go straight forward. You will see a big windmill. Once you see the windmill take a left, there you will spot a small shack. There you can find the Moreau Labyrinth. 

3. How to solve the Puzzle using Mermaid Ball in Resident Evil Village

Now you have successfully got Mermaid Ball in you inventory. You just have to use it on the puzzle to solve it.

After you click examine, the puzzle will be interactable, and you have to now rotate the puzzle and place the ball on the target. Now move the ball inside the glowing area by rotating the puzzle with respect to the route of the ball. Watch out for holes placed on the lower left side of the puzzle.

Falling onto those holes will restart the puzzle, so beware! Get past those holes and place your ball into the glowing target. You have now successfully completed the puzzle.

4. Moreau Puzzle (Mermaid) Reward: Chartreuse Skull

On completing the Puzzle, you’ll be rewarded with a Chartreuse Skull for your efforts. You can trade this with Duke the Merchant for a lump sum amount of Lie for you to upgrade your arsenal. 

You’ll be able to trade in the Chartreuse Skull for 20,000 Lei with Duke Merchant.
