Leaks Suggest new agent in Valorant codenamed “Data Transfer”

Each time valorant launches a new map, we also get to see a new agent release alongside it. However, in the recent act with the launch of “Breeze” fans kept waiting for the news on a new agent release but all in vain. Players can expect the launch of the new agent soon. Sources suggest the new agent in Valorant to be named “Data Transfer”.

That said, expect a new Agent for Patch 3.0 🙂

This time around we are throwing in some abilities that should feel familiar to folks who’ve played traditional FPS games their whole lives, but with added elements that will make those recognizable abilities unique within our roster. This is an Agent who’s utility can create moments where you must rely on your gunplay.

The last addition to the Valorant agent roster was “Yoru”. His abilities and powers are unique and make him fall under the category of a lurking duelist in the game. It’ll be interesting to see what Riot has in mind to make changes to the already evolving Valorant meta.

Especially, after the inclusion of Astra and Viper buff in the roster the valorant meta has shifted drastically. Keeping in mind the latest agent added into the game was a duelist, players will be more than happy to see the new agent to be a sentinel.

Riot shares an icon in context to the new agent

Riot suggests the new agent will have abilities that’ll give the players a chance to rely more on their gunplay. Players expect an agent that’ll be able to counter the post-plant usage of Astra and Viper utilities.

It is also interesting to note the icon reminds us of the “Sombra” from overwatch.

Moreover the new agent “Data Transfer” will release in Patch 3.0 of Valorant.
