Amazon Games has finally released its new MMORPG, New World, on Sept. 28. Players all over the globe are trying to get their hands on the game. But many among them are still left out with a question that whether New World is Subscription Based or not? Well, let’s find out.
You can download the game once you’ve purchased it from Steam and added New World into your Steam game library. The game is available in two editions as of now. Firstly, the standard edition of the game costs $40. Secondly, the deluxe edition is priced $10 higher than the standard edition at $50. The Deluxe Edition includes skins for weapons and armor, and some additional emotes.
Now let’s move straight to the question, So is the New World Subscription Based? Well, the answer is No. New World does not require a monthly subscription to continue playing. Once you’ve purchased either one of the Standard or the Deluxe Version, you’re good to go. You don’t have to incur any further additional expenses.
MMORPG games like World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV require a monthly subscription to play the game. Therefore, the question of whether New World is Subscription-based was obvious and expected. However, New World won’t ask for you to purchase any monthly subscription to play the game.
Therefore, once you have purchased the game, you get access to the entirety of the game with no restrictions. Moreover, with time we can expect Amazon Games to include additional content for New World. In the future, any added DLC or future expansion into New World may levy additional charges. Details of which we’ll make sure to keep you posted, once the announcements are made.
