In a recent online post, iQOO announced the iQOO Z5’s debut date. On Weibo, the company revealed that their new smartphone will be available on September 23. It’s unclear whether the Z5 will be the only model available or whether the company would launch the rumored iQOO Z5 Pro and iQOO Z5x.
Specifications of the iQOO Z5 (Rumored)
According to what we know so far, the iQOO Z5 will include a curved display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Processor. It’ll also have a 5G connection and fast charging, according to reports. According to rumors, iQOO will introduce the iQOO Z5 Pro and iQOO Z5x in addition to the regular model.
Following that, iQOO released pictures of the device’s front panel on Weibo. It has skinny bezels on all sides and a punch-hole selfie camera in the center of the screen. On the right edge of the smartphone are the volume and the power button. Another picture verifies the device’s key features, such as the Snapdragon 778G processor, UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 RAM.
The audio quality of the Z5 will be improved over the Z3. The smartphone will include twin stereo speakers for surround sound and Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless compatibility.
The Z5 is said to include a curved full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The rear has a triple-lens camera system with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The smartphone will most likely come with Android 11 pre-installed and up to 8GB of RAM. According to other rumors, the phone will include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
iQOO has since confirmed some of these rumors. The company revealed the launch date for the iQOO Z5 in a teaser post on Weibo. The launch will take place on September 23 at 2:30 p.m. CST Asia (12 p.m. IST) in China.
Moreover, recently IQOO India also teased the new Z series smartphone. This could mean that the launch in India will take soon after the China launch. We expect IQOO to launch the IQOO Z5 smartphone at aggressive pricing similar to the Z3 smartphone launched this year.
