Huawei P40 Pro 5G smartphone users in Europe can now install the latest EMUI 12 update on their devices. The latest update will bring along complete features of EMUI 12. The firmware designation and changelog are the same as those that were distributed during beta version testers since 7th January 2022. How to install EMUI 12 Update?
The users using EMUI 11 will receive EMUI 12 updates, while EMUI 12 beta testers can upgrade to the stable version. To check for updates, go to your mobile settings and select systems & update. Tap on check for updates. When an update will occur click on “Download and install”. The OTA file will be about 1.04 GB. It will take some time to download, then install the update. Now you can use all the features of this new software update.
What’s new in the Huawei P40 Pro EMUI 12 update?
The new update has come with many latest features for stability, appearance, and feasibility. The major updates are as listed below:
- More flexible font size adjustment with slider feature.
- Simple colors, tones and shadows applies to UI elements for achieving Neuromorphic design.
- Facility to increase the size of app folders on home screen by pressing and holding, to easily access the application.
- You can swipe down from top left corner to get notification bar and swipe up from bottom right corner to view shortcuts of control panel
- Added audio control area to control bar. It will allow you to easily switch between different apps and devices.
- You can easily add devices using cross screen cooperation by selecting laptops and tablets symbol in “Device+” area of control panel.
- You can type your phones password in Laptop when they are connected in cross screen cooperation due to added cooperative authentication function.
- The speed of Huawei share is increased to share file faster.
- You can easily share files between mobile and laptops using multi-device file management.
