Elden Ring contains some of the most grueling and legendary boss fights. Malenia, Blade of Miquella, is widely regarded as the most difficult boss to defeat in Elden Ring. She can heal herself with every attack she lands, so players must be precise when attempting to take her out. However, that is not the only powerful threat in Elden Ring. Black Blade Kindred is an optional boss in Elden Ring and this monster is extremely difficult to beat, and it will need either a lot of patience or a lot of cheese to do it. Now, let’s discuss how to execute this notorious boss.
1. Who is Black Blade Kindred in Elden Ring

Black Blade Kindred is a Boss in Elden Ring. He is a gigantic black gargoyle that wields two distinct blades and he may be found in Dragonbarrow and the Forbidden Lands. However, he is an optional boss, since you are not obliged to fight it in order to progress in Elden Ring. Although, doing so grants helpful things as well as Runes.
2. Where to find Black Blade Kindred in Elden Ring

Black Blade Kindred may be found at Dragonbarrow outside the Bestial Sanctum in Caelid. The boss appears twice, once in Caelid and once in Forbidden Lands towards the Grand Lift of Rold.
3. How to beat Black Blade Kindred in Elden Ring
We’ll start with the two we discovered to be the most consistent. You’ll be using the Bestial Sanctum, which is located just behind the boss, for both of them. With that in mind, you may either rush past the fight, open the gate to the Bestial Sanctum and activate the site of grace there, or utilise the Limgrave waygate to enter the sanctum directly.
I. Hit & Run
This cheese technique is the safest, but also the slowest to implement. The concept is that as you exit the sanctum, the boss will be waiting outside with its back to you. Whether you’re a ranged or melee player, you’ll be able to employ your strongest strike against the boss before the fight ever begins. While that may appear to be a wonderful way to start the fight, this boss’s HP does not return to full if he vanishes and respawns.

With that in mind, begin the fight by exiting the Bestial Sanctuary, attacking the monster with your greatest attack, then returning to the sanctum. While this boss may use ranged attacks, you can dodge them all by crouching behind the second or third pillar away from the entrance.
All you have to do now is wait for the boss to either return to his initial location or to vanish, causing him to respawn while his HP does not reset. While you will spend a lot of time going back and forth to fight the boss this way, it is also the safest and easiest technique to use.
II. Gurranq, Beast Clergyman
This method is riskier, but it is much faster than the Hit and Run strategy. It entails defeating the Black Blade Kindred by employing the friendly NPC situated in the back of the Bestial Sanctum.

First, ensure that the boss is standing outside, unaware of your presence, at the sanctum’s point of grace. Next, we need Gurranq to be hostile, which you may already have if you’ve been feeding him Deathroot during your gameplay. However, if you and Gurranq are buddies, attack him three times to make him hostile until you die or reload the game.
The goal of provoking Gurranq is for him to utilise his Bestial Claw assault through the sanctum’s door. While this strike deals a lot of damage, it may also hurt the Black Blade Kindred outside without triggering the boss fight.
To avoid the assault, roll ahead, through it, as rolling in any other direction would result in a significant amount of damage. If you want to block it, you can discard all of your FP flasks and devote them all to the HP replenishing ones at the neighbouring place of grace, which will help you survive the attack.
The one problem you may have when attempting to use this method is Gurranq jumping to the side and squandering all of his strikes on the wall.
All you have to do now is keep an eye out for some of Gurranq’s strikes that can reach you through the door while dodging the Beast Claw assault and watching the Black Blade Kindred’s HP drop to zero without striking him.
Once the boss is defeated, you must either die to Gurranq or return to the main menu, since these are the only methods to exit fight and return Gurranq to his friendly status.
