Digimon Survive: How to Get Tentomon?
Tentomon is a metallic ladybug-like Digimon that can be recruited to the party in the game. You should begin by playing the main story until part 7. You will be able to recruit Tentomon at this stage only. Remember that you cannot find him in battle to negotiate with him or make him your partner.
Here is how you can find Tentomon. Be in the Free Action mode and head to the Shrine. When you reach, interact with any of the clusters of flowers to your left. This will make the party suspicious and Agumon will suggest using the phone’s camera.
Use the camera of the phone to scan and interact with the flowers again. You will see an injured Tentomon among the bed of flowers. After a short conversation with him, use the “Come with us?” choice for the final response.
Tentomon will consider you as non-threatening and will join you for the rest of the adventure. The Shrine becomes inaccessible later on in Part 7 so, you should go there as soon as you reach that part in the campaign. If you fail, you will miss out on the chance to add Tentomon.
Other ways to get Tentomon in Digimon Survive
Yes, there are other ways to add Tentomon in Digimon Survive but, there is no guarantee here. You can encounter him during Shadow Battles, which are triggered during the Exploration Phase. We will tell you how to start a Shadow Battle:
Explore any area during the Exploration Phase and scan it with the phone’s camera. If you spot a small distortion, interact with it. You may receive a free item from the distortion or a Shadowy Figure may appear.
Now, select to battle the Shadowy Figure and a random Digimon will appear to fight. Tentomon is a rare Shadow Battles spawn, so continue fighting Shadowy Figures until it appears. During the battle, start talking to befriend Tentomon.
Once you have answered the questions successfully, you can request an item from him or try to befriend it. Befriending it has a chance of failing and if it does, Tentomon will become furious and attack relentlessly.

Tentomon is a very important Digimon which will definitely help your gameplay improve a lot. You must try to befriend him through the first method, which is easier and comes with a guarantee. Out of all the Digimons, I believe this one is the best and so, you should not miss the chance of adding him.
