Servers for Fortnite were down for several hours, causing great frustration among players. Epic Games announced on their official Twitter account that the Fortnite servers were down, having issues with login, matchmaking, and other features. There is no announcement of when Fortnite servers will be back up at that moment.

There is no official announcement or any other leak about why Fortnite is Down for hours. We are still waiting to hear from Epic Games and what they will do to make up for lost time in the ongoing winter fest event 2021.
When Will Fortnite Servers be Back Up?
So many players raise the complaint for Server down, login issue and matchmaking issue on twitter. At 9:43 P.M. Epic’s Fortnite Status Twitter account informed players that the situation was being investigated. After 2 hours of investigation, Official Twitter account says that Fortnite is unavailable and the issue will be resolved in another 6 hours.
After 6 hours of Fortnite down, on Thursday morning at 5:20 A.M. Fortnite Status tweeted a post saying that the Fortnite servers are back up again and issues have been fixed.
Fortnite also gives players 1 extra gift to open. We don’t know why but probably because of the servers’ down make up thing.
Some players even said that this was the fourth time the game had experienced issues like this, and that it was concerning. Epic quickly fixed all issues, but now it must find a method to please a group of players who are fed up with the game’s servers being down all of the time.
