Vista Points are a one-of-a-kind puzzle-like collectible in Horizon Forbidden West that you need to complete in two phases. First, you need to locate a Vista Point Tower to uncover a clue, then determine the exact position where the clue aligns with the surroundings. Now, we will help you in locating each Vista Point to finish the puzzle in Horizon Forbidden West.
How Vista Points Work?
Vista Points have gotten a little more complicated with Zero Dawn. First, find an Old Ones satellite tower and scan it with the Focus. When you Activate the landmark, you will see a Search Zone on your map and a hint as to what the topic of the Vista is in the shape of a fragmented picture.
The Vista’s topic is usually a ruin of the Old Ones; the goal is to line up the Focus’ perspective such that it fits the image fragment hint you were given. Study the Relic Ruin so that you can match fundamental forms with the photo; if these features are smaller in the picture, you’ll need to be closer.
Every Vista Point Location in Horizon Forbidden West
#1 Vista Point: The Daunt
You can find Vista Tower in The Daunt between Chainscrape and Barren Light. Once you’ve located the tower, scan it to obtain the image you need to match. The Vista Point site is located to the north of the Vista Point Tower. The Vista is located at the base of a destroyed bridge on the riverbed, just to the north of the Tower.
#2 Vista Point: Plainsong
In Horizon: Forbidden West, this Vista Tower is located west of Plainsong at the foot of the mountain range. Once you’ve located the tower, scan it and save the image. The Vista Point is located in the mountains west of Vista Tower. Go up the mountain and ascend the cliff from the Tower. Plainsong will be seen from two rusty platforms.
You must locate three windmills, two of them are intact and one is damaged. The Vista Point is located on a rusting platform between an intact windmill and a broken windmill. Moreover, keep an eye out for the Sunwings that may be present.
#3 Vista Point: Scalding Spear
In Horizon: Forbidden West, this Vista Tower is found in the mountains northeast of Scalding Spear, high above a Sunwing location.
In the Sunwing complex, the Vista Point is located west of the tower. Two rusty platforms will be seen from Scalding Spear. Furthermore, look for the one with a damaged tree trunk leading up to it, but keep an eye out for the Sunwings. To get to Vista Point, you’ll have to combat them.
#4 Vista Point: The Stillsands
The Vista Tower in The Stillsands is located in the mountains west of Camp Nowhere and north of Hidden Ember. Machines will be roving the region surrounding the Tower; you may have to battle the Burrowers, Fire Bristlebacks, and Sunwings there.
The Vista Point is located just north of the Tower. Climb the short cliff to the north. Overlooking Hidden Ember will be a concrete deck with a broken rail. Moreover, there is a tiny Oseram camp in the region, as well as several Burrowers.
#5 Vista Point: Dunehollow
You can find Vista Tower in Hidden Ember’s ruins under Dunehollow. To get there, go to Dunehollow and down the elevator shaft. When you reach the huge open area, the tower will be near the large astronaut monument, above a Fatshake shop.
The Vista Point will be located north of the Tower. There will be a shattered bridge with a modest overlook. Look towards the Eiffel Tower to capture the photograph.
#6 Vista Point: The Memorial Grove
This Vista Tower is located north of The Memorial Grove on a hill overlooking the river, broken planes, and some flatlands. It stands over the road signs directing visitors to The Memorial Grove and Cliffwatch by the Campfire.
The Vista Point will be located on a mountainside along the river. Look east from the Vista Tower towards the vast mountain range. If you look along the mountains, you will notice a broken radar dish.
Climb the mountain to that dish, and you’ll discover a concrete platform with a view of the valley. Also, you have to face the radar to complete the Vista Point in Horizon Forbidden West.
#7 Vista Point: The Long Coast
The Vista Tower in The Long Shore is located far north along the coast, just south of the Greenhouse in Horizon Forbidden: West, close north of Tide’s Reach.
The Vista Point will be located on a tiny island off the shore, west of the Tower. A little hilly island may be seen if you go down the shore. You may have to combat machines or slip past them. Climb the mountain to the north, where you will see the Faro building remains.
#8 Vista Point: Shrouded Heights
You must travel to the Isle of Spires to discover the Vista Tower in the Shrouded Heights. Now, you need to move towards the northern half of the island where you’ll find the tower in ruins in Horizon: Forbidden West.
You will need to dive underwater to reach Vista Point. Meanwhile, the image will be of a domed building with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.
Go into the water and plunge down from the Tower. The domed structure will be easy to detect. Swim along the seafloor until you come to a yellow handhold (for boosting you underwater). The Vista Point will be located here.
#9 Vista Point: Isle of Spires
The Vista Tower in the Isle of Spires in Horizon: Forbidden West will be in the ruins near a Sunwing site on the southern side of the island. It is strongly advised that you must have a Sunwing mount.
You must climb the tall building next to the tower to obtain this Vista Point. You can fly up to the very top and perch if you have a Sunwing mount.
You’ll need to keep rising from there. To the right of the perch, there will be a towering radio tower. Climb it to a metal platform, then go out onto the yellow beam and look out at the city.
