Best No Lag Settings For New World

On 28 September New World was released worldwide for players. Just one day of release and New World has already become the Most Playable game on Steam 2021. This new MMO game is ruling Steam. To enhance your overall gameplay, today we are going to tell you about some of the best New World settings. Do try these methods once and feel the difference.

One of the biggest factors affecting your gaming performance is resolution. We suggest you lower your resolution. It will be very helpful in making your game more smooth.

Note:- There is no FSR or DLSS so lowering your game resolution won’t look amazing.

Moreover, one more thing affecting gaming performance is “What are you doing and Where are you at”. According to some users, on GeForce RTX 2080 with high settings, if you are using some trick to do something in-game then your average frame rate will be 6fps at 4K. While you are running inside the settlement in New World then your average frame rate will be 24fps. If you are cutting trees outside the town then your average frame rate will be 32fps. Users observe the best average frame rate while running along the coastline, then your average frame rate will be 48fps.

By telling you all these we are just letting you know that place and whatever you do in the game will also affect your gaming performance. In MMO games it’s normal no need to worry or think that it is a bug or something.

1. System Requirements for New World

I. Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 / AMD CPU with 4 physical cores at 3Ghz
  • RAM: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 670 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 or better
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 7200rpm HDD with 50GB available space

II. Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K / AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • RAM: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / AMD Radeon R9 390X or better
  • DirectX: Version 12

By seeing these system requirements, the basic processor would do just fine, but for smooth 1080p gaming, the 6GB GTX 1060 / 8GB Radeon RX 580 or above is recommended. An RTX 2060 or GTX 1080 will be sufficient for 1440p. As we discussed above how places affect the fps, so for 4K at least an RTX 2070 is required to handle the crowded regions.

So let’s talk about what will be the best New World settings that might make gaming performance much smoother.

2. Best Settings For New World

I. Using Presets

For the most important quality settings if you drop your settings from the very high preset to low preset then your frame gain will be more and you will be able to play New World more smoothly. Or you can just drop it to medium and it will work depending on your GPU. We suggest you turn on the Show FPS. You can find the Show FPS setting on the lower portion of the settings menu. Try these settings sure it will help you they are better than nothing.

II. Lighting Details, Shadow Details, Texture Details and More

These settings will play a major role in your framerates. There are two ways to set these settings, either you can use presets or you can drop the setting on your own. If you are running your game on high but your frame rates are low, you can set these Lighting, Shadow, and Texture on medium. Try these settings; it will help you run your game smoothly and gain the best framerate.

Post Processing details- You can leave this on High or Very High without a clear performance loss.

III. Nameplates Settings

You think nameplates will not affect your frame rates but you are wrong it will affect both frame rates and the performance of the game. Try reducing this to a minimum of 2 and clear your screen, don’t add those Nameplates which are not necessary for you.

IV. Dynamic Resolution Scaling Setting

If you are more concerned about the game’s graphical quality, you’ll have to turn off Dynamic Resolution Scaling, which can be found at the bottom of the visual options page. It’s enabled by default, and it lowers the resolution to ensure a smooth frame rate.

V. Latency Issues Setting

This is another setting worth changing, you will find the option to turn off analytics reporting in the Preferences section, which can resolve latency issues.

Hope these settings will help you play your game smoothly. Happy Gaming!
