Assassin’s Creed has its fifteenth anniversary coming up. Ubisoft will be looking forward to announcing the Assassin’s Creed’s future after Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Ubisoft promised to reveal the future plans in September, maybe on 10th of September during the Ubisoft Forward Event. As of now, the players know about two major projects: Assassin’s Creed Infinity and Assassin’s Creed Rift. The rumors say that the game will focus on Basim, but recently there is a leak by a YouTuber about Assassin’s Creed Rift.
This article will focus on the leak by the YouTuber J0nathan. The information he gave about the game is pretty much correct. He says, the actual name for the game is Assassin’s Creed Mirage and will release around Spring 2023. The game will take place in Baghdad around 860-870 AD in the Anarchy of Samarra.
He also explains more about Assassin’s Creed Rift leak and says that Basim will start as a thief before he joins the Hidden Ones and explore other several cities. Basim will also use the String Dagger. The Eagle Vision will also return to the game.
The game will also reveal and follow the aspect of Loki taking over the body and mind of Basim. It is also rumored that Ubisoft will use the Mirage’s assets to rebuild AC1, which is part of Mirage’s Season Pass. The leak also features an Assassin’s Creed Mirage DLC, where Basim encounters Sigurd in Constantinople.
Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier reportedly reached out to his sources and confirmed the leak about the Assassin’s Creed Rift. He also says that not all of the leaks are true such as multiple cities, the DLC, and more. The fans would be clear about the Assassin’s Creed future in the coming weeks as the Ubisoft Forward event will take place on 10th September. This event will clear all the questions and queries about Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
